I. Constitution, Domicile and Duration
Article 1.- The Association is named “Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas”, (hereinafter “ASBA” or "the Association"), and said name will always be followed by the words CIVIL ASSOCIATION or “A.C.”. The Association will be governed by these by-laws and other applicable rules duly approved by its corporate bodies, and, for unforeseen cases, by the applicable legislation of Mexico.
Article 2.- The Association has its legal domicile in Mexico City, Federal District, Mexico, and may establish branches or representative offices anywhere in the Americas.
Article 3.- The life span of the Association is indefinite. However, it may be dissolved at any time, in accordance with the procedure set forth in article 27 of these by-laws.
